2018 Rhode Island IDeA Symposium

The 2018 Rhode Island IDeA Symposium was held on June 8, 2018 at the Warren Alpert Medical School. The lineup of speakers included Regional Keynote speaker Zahir A. Shaikh, PhD, Director of RI-INBRE and Professor, University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and National Keynote speaker Christine Sorkness, RPh, PharmD, Professor of Pharmacy and Medicine, and Senior Associate Executive Director of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, University of Wisconsin. The 2018 symposium involved nearly 200 participants, over 80 poster presentations, breakout sessions, networking and more. IDeA program officers from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences also attended this highly interactive, full-day science gathering.
