Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets quarterly and is responsible for oversight of progress of targeted investigators and providing appropriate feedback. The Executive Committee reviews applications for junior investigators and pilot projects. The committee arranges for career developments events and the annual COBRE research retreat.

External Advisory Committee

“The External Advisory Committee meets in Rhode Island twice a year to review the progress of junior and pilot investigators and advise the Directors and Executive Committee regarding investigator progress. EAC members assess junior investigators research progress based on formal oral presentations and benchmark data provided by the Administrative Core. They review and approve all new investigators to join the program.
